Wakeboard video reviews

One of the better wakeboard video releases in recent times has to be that portrait of Byerly, Retrospective, released by Sidewayz. This is a well produced classic that is so much more than a simple collection of excellent scene – the wakeboard video equivalent of the whole being greater than the some of its parts. Much greater.

Sideways did all the hard work of looking through countless hours of wakeboard videos (yeah, I know, that isn’t so much a hardship now, is it?) and collecting all the best bits that show Scott Byerly and his very talented friends.

Wakeboard videos like this can get tedious but this is not so with Retrospective. Every scene tells its own story: the action is intense and Byerly, predictably, looks fantastic in them. The word legend may be overused but it is certainly applicable in this case. Certainly this is a wakeboard video that deserves to have pride of place in your video collection.
