If you’re looking for a Vice President who is calm, collected, liberal, and willing to give anything a go, then you will want to steer away from Sarah Palin. Possibly one of the more Conservative politicians that we have had towards the top of the bill for quite some time, Sarah Palin is nothing if not sure of her convictions. Her willingness to speak out and act on subjects that she truly feels something for – rather than just towing the party line and pandering to the whims of the majority of the voters – is refreshing in a world of spin and U-turns.
Still, if you were thinking of having an abortion, if you want to partake in a same sex marriage, if you disagree with the right to carry guns and if you’re vehemently against the death penalty, then Sarah Palin most definitely disagrees with you.
Her conviction and willingness to fight her chosen corner has been demonstrated on a number of occasions throughout Sarah Palin’s relatively short but illustrious political career, but perhaps never more so than in the Bridge to Nowhere campaign. This, like so many of her more interesting political moves won her a few enemies, but ultimately provided her with more impressed supporters. What a woman.
